What is IndiaSterlocked?
IndiaSterlocked is a meaningful initiative launched by Venus Remedies, owing to our dedication to healthcare innovation. The IndiaSterlocked
campaign was started in 2023 and is centered around Sterloc, a
specialized alcohol-free hand sanitizer created by Venus.
Sterloc is unique for its use of Hypochlorous acid (HOCl), which provides effective sanitization without the harshness of alcohol. This makes Sterloc safe for use on hands and surfaces, offering a versatile solution for maintaining cleanliness.
The main idea behind this campaign is – for every pack sold, one is donated to uplift India. This means that for every pack of Sterloc purchased, we donate a pack to someone in need who may not have the means to buy it themselves. This initiative ensures that essential hygiene products reach those who need them the most, contributing to better health outcomes and overall well-being.
We’ve successfully conducted several IndiaSterlocked campaigns, spreading awareness and knowledge about the importance of hand hygiene, menstrual hygiene and proper sanitation. We work with local NGOs and community leaders to identify the communities in need. These are primarily areas with poor sanitation infrastructure, high population density, or where there is a high prevalence of infectious diseases.
By participating in IndiaSterlocked, individuals not only benefit from using Sterloc but also become part of a larger movement to promote hygiene and make a difference in the lives of others. This campaign embodies Venus’ commitment to social responsibility and its vision of creating a healthier society for all.
