Venus manufactures research-based products aimed at addressing various
healthcare challenges. Our R&D facility at VMRC, Baddi, focuses on
innovative solutions for unmet medical needs, positioning Venus as a
partner of choice for pharmaceutical research across the value chain.
Our innovation program tackles demanding healthcare challenges such as Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and oncology.
For AMR, Venus is focused on developing solutions against microorganisms like bacteria (causing pneumonia), viruses (HIV), and parasites (Malaria) that resist antibiotics, antivirals, and antimalarial treatments, respectively.
In oncology, Venus aims to reduce cancer mortality by developing site-specific products with fewer side effects and technologies for early cancer detection. Cancer is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, with its prevalence increasing despite the availability of advanced medicines, often due to delayed detection and high systemic toxicity.
